Material Strength
My Jeep lives outside, will your material withstand the elements?
Our prints have been thoroughly tested in desert heat, rain, sleet, blizzards and perfect cruising weather. The Nylon based material is chemical resistant, and the Carbon Fiber addition gives it industrial strength.
I have a 3D printer at home, what makes this better?
We use industrial 3D printers that have undergone tens of thousands of hours of testing and fine tuning to deliver industrial strength, incredible surface finish, and repeatable results. These are not your run-of-the-mill 3D prints.
What material do you print parts with?
The base material is a proprietary PA6 Nylon + Carbon Fiber blend.
Installation
Will I need fabrication skills to install your parts?
Not everyone has the resources for custom fabrication, that is why we design our components as a simple bolt-on solution. If you are able to pump your own gas, you'll be able to install most of our parts.
What will I use to install the parts I ordered?
Generally, most of the products include all installation hardware. If there is an application that would have a subjective length piece of hardware (see our fairlead block-off plate, bumpers have varying thicknesses) we may drop a note of what hardware is recommended but not include it.
What sort of tools are needed to install?
Typical hand tools will do just fine, a socket wrench set, pliers, etc. depending on the product.
Check out the Installation Instructions page linked under each product check-out area for more detailed instructions.
